The Hilltop Strummers, a group of mountain dulcimer players, is a satellite club of the North GA Foothills Dulcimer Association. Formed in April 2008, most participants were new to the instrument and all desired the opportunity to play with others.
Besides gathering to enjoy fellowship and improve our playing, we take our music into the community to play for Senior groups, assisted living facilities, community events, etc. We also enjoy getting together for picnics and other social events. (See Photo Gallery page.)
We meet weekly on Tuesdays from 1:00 to 3:15. Visitors are welcome but in the summer please contact us before visiting because we meet alternate weeks. Come see what dulcimers can sound like and see how much fun we have. Beginners are welcome!
